COVID-19 Update

Current Scheduling Protocol

At this time I am only serving clients established prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help me manage the transition time between clients and the number of people I can see in a day, I am not allowing direct online booking at this time.

If you are interested in scheduling a massage, please CALL or TEXT ME at 845-594-2084.

Is it safe to receive a massage?

Each of us defines risk differently. As long as there are active cases in our area, the risk is not zero. I am doing everything I can to reduce my own personal risk and the risk to those I come in contact with, both at home and at work.

Can I book an appointment online?

At this time I am only seeing those with an established relationship with my practice prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help manage transition times between clients and the reduced number of people I can see in a day, I am not allowing direct online booking at this time.

If you are interested in scheduling a massage, please CALL or TEXT ME at: 845-594-2084.

Can I buy a gift certificate?

I am suspending the sale of gift certificates as I am only seeing clients with an established relationship prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Once I broaden that restriction, I will resume gift certificate sales.

Are you going to stay open this time?

I reserve the right to open and close my practice depending on the rate of infection within our county and our community. I ask for your patience and understanding that even though I may open, I may not remain open if the number of infections rises to a level that I determine increases personal or community risk.

Please see the following resources below for more information about the current rates of testing and infection for Ulster County and the Town of Saugerties. I will be using these numbers to guide my decision of when I will provide massage services.

Here are some of the sites I am using to make my determinations:

Ulster County COVID-19 Dashboard

Saugerties COVID-19 Dashboard

These are up-to-date values for Rt, a key measure of how fast the virus is growing. It’s the average number of people who become infected by an infectious person. If Rt is above 1.0, the virus will spread quickly. When Rt is below 1.0, the virus will stop spreading.”

Check Metrics by selecting “Explore States,” and then click on Ulster County. Checking out surrounding counties is also useful.
